Handcrafted Benches, Altars, and Furniture: Creating the Experience of Life As Art

Our furniture is hand-crafted in the United States by Buddhst Clergy. This allows us to create items with impeccable attention to detail, care, and beauty. Proceeds from each item sold help support the clergy who build and teach in our local community, to support the Zen Temple itself, and towards our Recovery program for people impacted by mental health challenges, substance use, and/or trauma.

About Reflecting Moon Zen: We are a Zen Order and Lay Community in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. We are committed to the eradication of suffering and the wellbeing of everyone in our community, whether they practice wth us or engage in spirituality in other ways. We are building a new Recovery program based on Zen principles.

In addition we operate a volunteer-based, online Buddhist University for those who are seeking to deepen their understanding of Zen practices or who have an interest in ordination for the purpose of serving others.
